About me

Exploring issues, questions and concerns with a curious and empathetic person is critical to successful therapy. I am committed to a real, non-judgmental, and empathetic connection. I believe you are the "expert" of your life, and our work will honor that and remind you that you are more powerful than you may realize.

As a keen observer of myself and others, I have learned to relate to people in a way that encourages self-reflection, insight, and positive growth. I will be a partner to you.

My goal as a therapist is to support you in meeting your goals in life. Let's work together to help you work through issues, challenge your thoughts, and expound your strengths.

I am a  Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in providing therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey.  I then obtained a Master's of Science (M.S.) in Social Work from Fordham University in NYC.  After obtaining licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I began providing short-term counseling for patients and their families at Hoboken University Medical Center.

Later I joined the social work team at the Institute for Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders at Hackensack University Medical Center (HackensackUMC) in Hackensack, NJ.  There I connected patients and their families, struggling with a myriad of chronic and acute medical illnesses, to appropriate resources within and around the community at large.

I’m currently on my way to get certified to become a Relational Life Therapist.

I approach each individual I work  with in a caring and compassionate way, and create individualized approaches to treatment for each client I see so that treatment can be tailored effectively to each person's need.

I then gained additional clinical experience working as a therapist for children, adolescents, and families through the Children’s Out-Patient Endeavors (C.O.P.E.) program affiliated with Care Plus.  During this time, I also worked separately for Northern Valley Regional High School District's Therapeutic Intervention Program (T.I.P.), where I provided in-class support to students with special needs by developing and implementing behavior plans within the classroom setting.

After doing so, I spent time working as a Senior Licensed Therapist and Clinical Supervisor for Attentive Psychotherapy & Counseling Center in Hackettstown, NJ.  There, I provided clinical supervision to social workers and counselors in training while conducting outpatient therapy to couples, families, children, and adults.

Clinically, I have developed knowledge in cognitive behavioral therapy to provide efficacious care for individuals struggling with various difficulties including (but not limited to): anxiety, depression, attention-based disorders, anger and aggression, and family discord.
